Job Description
Work as part of a team of QA engineers to develop test infrastructure, test plans, test automation and testing strategies for the implementation of highly scalable and reliable enterprise n-tier distributed systems. You will contribute to the QA of our enterprise class campaign management and email technology platform.


Position Details:


Design, develop and execute test plans.
Develop both automated and manual test cases.
Contribute to design and development of test architecture and test infrastructure.
Work closely with software engineers in flushing out complex test case scenarios.
Contribute to test methodology and testing best practices.
Develop tools and utilities for execution in test infrastructure.
Ability to work as part of a self-directed team, in which you determine your tasks on a daily basis in coordination with co-workers, rather than waiting for work to be assigned to you.

Position Experience:


BS/BA in Computer Science or related industry experience is required.
Knowledge of Unix/Linux system administration maintaining testing server farms.
Experience with VMware VI3 is a plus
Unix/Linux shell scripting skills is required.
Experience with scripting languages (Perl, Ruby, Python, PHP, Groovy, TCL, etc.).
Experience configuring and testing web applications in J2EE and LAMP environments.
Experience using relational databases (Oracle, SQL Server or MySQL) required.
Extensive troubleshooting experience spanning hardware, software, and network infrastructures.
Experience with commercial and open source testing software and tools.
Experience in context-based, exploratory, or scenario testing a plus.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent written and communication skills required
